Lawrence A. Boivin

BOIVIN- Lawrence A. Boivin, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2010. Born April 1, 1918, in Adams, Massachusetts to Mose and Eva (Gregoire) Boivin, he is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Alice (Fields) Boivin; daughters Carol J. Boivin of Albuquerque, and Susan D. Pules of Rio Rancho; loving and faithful companion “Paws”, and was preceded in death by his sisters Lucille and Doris. Lawrence was a resident of Albuquerque for more than 30 years and a lifetime member of VFW Post 448. He faithfully served in the Army during WWII, earning a Bronze star and other medals. The family wishes to convey a special thank you to the staff at Las Palomas, especially Susan, Stephanie, Kelly & Angela. In lieu of flowers, contributions are encouraged to Animal Humane Society, New Mexico Chapter, 615 Virginia St. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Cremation has taken place and private inurnment with honors will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
