Leah Alyss Burr

Leah Alyss Burr, age 31, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Peralta, New Mexico. She was born January 21, 1991 in San Francisco, California to Jennifer Max.  She received her High School Diploma at Rio Rancho High School before pursuing studies in animal care at Brown Mackie College. Leah worked with animals in many different capacities before finding a home she loved at Bosque Animal Clinic as a Veterinary Technician, working her way up to Clinic Manager. Leah had been employed at BAC for the last five years. She loved caring for animals, and was often the only one who could handle certain ones. Though animals were her passion, Leah loved being a mom and spending time with her son, often at Isotopes games.

Leah is survived by her son, Adrien Cordova of Rio Rancho, NM; mother and step father, Jennifer and Adrian Max of Rio Rancho, NM; brother Joshua Burr of Rio Rancho, NM; sister Trinity Max of Rio Rancho, NM; grandfather Charles Liss of Port Charlotte, Fl; grandmother Donna York of San Rafael, Ca, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 21,2022, 1:00 PM, Daniels Family Funeral Services - Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124.
