Lena Frances Guse

LENA FRANCES GUSE Lena Frances Guse, 81, of Farmington, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010. She was born January 5, 1929 in Alton, Illinois to Kenneth Leroy Baldwin and Hallie Frances Kelley. She graduated from Alton High School and married Clifford Guse in Sparks, Nevada in 1962. They enjoyed 47 years of marriage together before his death in November of 2009. Lena raced horses years ago, enjoyed anything to everything pertaining to crafts, lapidary and raising poodles. She loved to read books and do crossword puzzles. In addition, Lena raised four children and worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Mrs. Guse is survived by her children: Daughters, Cathi Pipkins and Susan Lane (Larry); and sons, Alan Guse (Vickie) and Carl Guse (Kathi); as well as a brother, Kenneth Baldwin and sister, Janet Kirk; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Graveside services for Lena will be Friday, June 25 at 11:00 am at Greenlawn Cemetery in Farmington.
