Lenna Gayle (McKenzie) Palmgren

Lenna G. (McKenzie) Palmgren, 68, of Farmington passed away Monday, August 30, 2010 at her home. Lenna was born January 2, 1942 in Monte Vista, Colorado the daughter of Merle McKenzie and Gladys (Hutchins) McKenzie. Lenna attended schools in Monte Vista, Colorado and moved to Farmington in 1977. She married Vernon Palmgren in 1960 in Monte Vista and he preceded her in one year in death to the day on August 30, 2009. Lenna was passionate about her family, crafts and church. She’ll be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Lenna is survived by her children �?¯�?¿�?½�?¯�?¿�?½“ daughters, Gina Hobaugh and Debra Klein and sons Darren Palmgren and Kevin Palmgren; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; brothers Donald McKenzie and Dennis McKenizie, sister Donna Sewell and many dear friends. Lenna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vernon Palmgren and a son Kelly Palmgren, grandson Robert Shane Culler, brother Lyle McKenzie and a sister Alene Reeves. Visitation will be Thursday, September 2, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 East Ute St. Funeral services will be Friday, September 3, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Farmington 2nd Ward Chapel, 400 W. Apache St. with Bishop Jared Lusk conducting. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers Matt Buell, Scott McKenzie, Victor Palmgren, Chris Hocker, Merick Klein and Mitch Clarence. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Reeves, Patrick Klein, Donald McKenzie, Alan Hobaugh, Dennis McKenzie and Matthew Hobaugh.
