It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Leo Carrillo. Leo passed away in his home peacefully surrounded by family on April 25, 2026.

Leo was born June 1, 1946, in Socorro, New Mexico to Nazario and Abrana Carrillo (Aragon) and was a lifelong resident of Socorro. Leo enjoyed music and was known by many for playing the drums in several local bands in the seventies. He also provided butchering services for livestock at Matanzas and family gatherings.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents Nazario and Abrana Carrillo, brother Dorotayo Carrillo, sister Patricia Carrillo, and sister Betty Lopez who was adopted into the family when she was a teenager.

Leo is survived by loving wife of 60 years Maria Carrillo (Garcia), sons Paul Carrillo, Frankie Carrillo, brothers Rudy Carrillo and Gilbert Carrillo, and their families. best friend, Paulie Castillo, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews
