Cenicola, Leonard "Lenny"
Age 71, of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 22, 2016 after a long illness.
Lenny is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joanne Groux; his sons, John Cenicola, his wife Katy and Lenny Cenicola Jr., his wife Delfina; grandchildren, Meagan, Mychal, Zachary, Harvest, Haven, Stormie, Irish; great-grandchildren, Makayla and Mya; brother, John Cenicola, his wife Shelia; mother-in-law, Jennie Groux; brother-in-law, Michael Carter; sister-in-law, Stephanie Kusayanagi-Dees and Jeri Groux; brother-in-law, David Dees; sister-in-law, Donna Cenicola.
Lenny is preceded in death by his parents, John and Victoria Cenicola; his brother Louis Cenicola; father-in-law, Gerald (Jerry) Groux; brother-in-law, Gordon Kusayanagi.
Lenny was born in Glendale, California on September 23, 1944. Graduated from Willow Glen High School and attended San Jose City College and Pasadena City College.
Lenny married to Joanne Groux on February 8, 1964 in San Jose, California at St. Maria Goretti Church.
Throughout his work career, Lenny worked at Fairchild's Semiconductor, Philip's Semiconductor and Summit Electric Supply.
He was an avid golfer and belonged to Club Rio Rancho where he had many close friends. He also enjoyed traveling and cooking gourmet meals for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Presbyterian Health Care Foundation for the Heart Center at Rust Medical Center, P.O. Box 26666, Albuquerque, NM 87125-6666.
