Leonard A. Vigil

Leonard A. Vigil was born on October 3, 1957 to Eloy O. Vigil and Josie Mercedes Sanchez in Clayton, NM. God called Leonard home on December 4, 2021 in Farmington, NM. He was preceded in death by his father, Eloy Vigil and his brother Patrick Vigil. 

Leonard is survived by his wife, Laura, his two daughters, his mother, Josie, and his four sisters. Leonard worked in the Communication Industry as a Drone Pilot\Cell Site Technician.

Leonard was a beloved husband, father, son, uncle and brother. He was a very compassionate member of his family. He was the rock and glue that held his family together. His family and friends all relied on him for his vast knowledge, excellent guidance and many skills. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The Services for Leonard Vigil will be held December 21, 2021 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 1502 Sara Rd, in Rio Rancho, NM. Visitation and Viewing begin at noon, Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by the Mass at 1:30 pm. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm at Vista Verde Memorial Park at 4310 Sara Rd in Rio Rancho. A reception will be held at 4:00 pm at the Pongal Event Center at 1101 Golf Course Rd. SE in Rio Rancho.
