Lillian C. Lucero

LUCERO-Lillian C. Lucero, age 65, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Lillian was born on January 11, 1946 in Las Cruces, NM. Lillian was a very loving and caring person who brought joy and laughter to everyone in her life. Lillian adored her family and loved to be in their company; she also loved helping others, sewing, knitting and crocheting. Lillian is preceded in death by her father, Avelino Chavez. Lillian is survived by her loving husband Richard of 43 years; her precious children, Richard Lawrence Lucero and wife Lisa of Kansas City, KS. and Rebecca Pacheco and husband Dino of Albuquerque, NM.; her mother, Rosie Chavez; five grandchildren, Joshua Lucero-Gonzales, Richard D. Lucero, Jacob Pacheco, Leslie Ann Lucero, Veronica Trujillo, one great-grandchild, Mynaela Lucero-Gonzales; three sisters, Marcela Frausto, Vicky Alvarez, Lourdes Apodaca; one brother, Avelino Chavez; and numerous other family and friends. Lillian will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A Rosary will take place at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Ave. SW, Friday April 29, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 9:00 a.m. Lillian’s care has been entrusted to: Garcia Mortuary 717 Stover S.W.
