Lillian B. Romero

Lillian Beatrice Romero Age 72 passed away at her Albuquerque home on Sunday April 22, 2012. She was born on October 6, 1939 in Taos, NM. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Cecilia Cruz of Taos; her sibling Ralph Cruz. She is survived by her husband Thomas Romero, son Randy Romero and wife Paulette; grandchildren Randy Jr. and Alyssa Romero. Brothers Raymond Cruz and wife Marge, Richard Cruz, Steve Cruz and wife Patricia, and sisters Dorothy Abbott and husband Billy, Joann Chester and husband John, Martha Herrera and Husband Joe, Kathy Garcia and husband Frank, Elaine Cisneros, Debbie Apodaca and husband Tony, Peggy Green and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces, and their families. Lillian Graduated from Valley High school in 1959 and also served in the U.S. Marine Corp. She held many positions in the financial industry. Her favorite pass times were taking care of her grandchildren Randy and Alyssa and playing Bingo. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, April 26th 2012 at 7:00pm at Daniels Funeral- 7601 Wyoming Blvd. Mass will be celebrated at Our lady of Assumption Catholic church, Tennessee & Lomas, Friday, April 27th at 1:30pm. Interment will follow at Sandia Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Father Edward Domme, preside. Pallbearers Vincent Garcia, Michael and Andrew Cisneros, Joseph Cruz, James Krejci, Steven Apodaca.
