Lily lopez

Lily M. Lopez, age 90, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born September 21, 1935, in Las Nutrias, New Mexico to Bonificio and Gregorita Romero. Lily married the love of her life, Cresencio M. Lopez on January 29, 1955, in Socorro, NM. She was a dedicated employee of Salvation Army for 27 years. She was a faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Albuquerque, NM. Lily loved her family and always enjoyed the time she spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonifacio and Gregorita Romero; her husband of 71 years, Cresencio M. Lopez; and two sons, Rudy N. Lopez and George F. Lopez.

Lily is survived by her daughters and sons-in-laws; Diane and Tomas Rivera of Albuquerque, NM and Carla and Chris Baca of Albuquerque, NM; and seven grandchildren, George Lopez, Christopher Baca, Tommy Rivera. Angelo Lopez. Crystal Baca, Kristy Lopez and Amanda Rivera. Also surviving are 7 great-grandchildren. 

Services will begin with Recitation of the Rosary, 8:00 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2026, Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.
