Services for Linda Johnson Begay, 53, will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 24, at Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m., Aug. 24, at Cope Memorial Chapel. Begay died Aug. 19, 2010, in Albuquerque. She was born May 17, 1957, in Rehoboth, into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Zuni People Clan. Begay worked as a waitress at various local restaurants, she was a very hard worker. She attended school in Fort Wingate. Survivors include her sons, Lyle Johnson, Kevin Johnson, both of Superman Canyon; brothers, Harrison Johnson, Bennie Begay, both of Superman Canyon; sisters, Esther Willie, Etta Johnson, Kathleen Diallo, both of Superman Canyon.
