Linda Lee Stagner

Linda Stagner passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Monday, September 6, 2021. Linda was born November 6, 1938 in Scott City, KS to P.G. and Ethel Anderson. When Linda was 10, her family moved to Clovis, NM.
She married the love of her life, Johnny M. Stagner, August 10, 1957 and their adventures began. They started a family in 1959 with the birth of their son, Michael. A few years later, they moved to Twin Falls, ID where they welcomed their daughter, Vicki in 1962. Six months later, her young family would move again, this time to Santa Fe, NM. They never would have imagined at that time, that they would end up re-locating five more times, including southern and northern California, Washington State, New Hampshire and finally in 1973 settling in Albuquerque, NM. She always took every move in stride and made each new location a happy and loving home.
On top of raising her family, she worked various jobs and volunteered everywhere they lived. She retired from Home Insurance in 1985. During her retirement, she and Johnny enjoyed traveling, visiting family and friends, and living life to the fullest. She was a great daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Johnny; son Mike Stagner and wife, Cindy of Alamogordo, NM; daughter Vicki Stagner of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren: Tawnya Weber, Amber Avila and husband, Shaun, Brian Stagner and wife, Cyndi; great grandchildren: Jayci, Caden, Keegan, Kolton, and Graceyn; and special family friend, Marcia Ulibarri.
The family would like to thank Alex and Joyce of Presbyterian Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
