Llewellyn A. "Llew" Wykel

Llewellyn A. Wykel, affectionately known as Llew, passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 78. Born on March 2, 1945, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Llew lived a life filled with love, adventure, and accomplishment.

Llew was a man of many talents and pursued various ventures throughout his life. At times, he owned his own businesses, showing his determination and entrepreneurial spirit. As a longtime IT Executive, Llew's expertise was valued and admired by all who had the privilege of working with him. However, his true passion lay in esoteric and spiritual pursuits, mentoring many along his journey.

“Love is the law; Love under will.”

Beyond his successful career, Llew's greatest achievement was in matters of the heart. On October 12, 2001, he married the love of his life, Andrea A. Bischoff in Colorado Springs, CO. Llew believed deeply in the power of love and cherished the bond they shared. Llew's kind and compassionate nature extended to his relationships with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Llewellyn and Doris Wykel, as well as his beloved daughter Katrina Wykel. Although their absence caused him immeasurable grief throughout his life, Llew held their memories close to his heart.

Llew leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by those who survive him. His loving wife Andrea A. Wykel of Rio Rancho, NM stood by his side through thick and thin. Their unwavering bond is a testament to their enduring love.

In addition to Andrea, Llew is survived by his children: daughter Andrea Johnson of Tomball, TX; sons Jasper Sipe and Charles Sipe of Colorado Springs, Co; son Ken Wykel of Cypress TX;  son Alex Wykel of Houston TX; daughter Cheryl Binkenstein Torrez of Cypress TX; sister Nancy Wykel of Downington, PA.  and friend Binky Davidson of Houston, TX.
One of Llew's greatest delights were his granddaughter, Taleah Sipe and grandson Michael Sipe who brought an abundance of happiness into his world. He cherished every moment spent with them and took great pride in watching as they have grown.

Llew's loving and caring spirit extended even to his furry companion, Emma, his loyal pet dog. The bond they shared was unbreakable and provided Llew with endless companionship and comfort.

Llew's passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all whose lives he touched. However, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him well.

May he rest in eternal peace knowing he made this world a better place through his presence and the lasting impact he had on those around him.
