Lois Warwick

Lois was born on July 24, 1948 in Watertown, Wisconsin. She passed from this life December 13, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico after a brief bout with cancer.

Lois was raised in Watertown and in Milwaukee before moving with her family to Albuquerque, New Mexico when she was 15 years of age. She continued her education at the University of New Mexico and was then employed as an elementary school teacher and Librarian for eight years.  She then changed careers to work as an Air Traffic Controller until she retired.

She married James Richard (Rick) Warrick on December 23, 1986. Lois enjoyed a multitude  of activities including her church activities at  Northeast  church of Christ, quilting, a book club, Yoga and other exercise programs and traveling.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rick, and both of her parents - who are all interred at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Her mother, Grace Sorenson, was a nurse during, WWII. And her father, Karl Sorenson, was a Corporal in the Marines during WWII. Rick was in the Air Force and served in Vietnam. Though Lois never served in the military she supported our troops.

Lois will be interred with her husband at Santa Fe National Cemetery February 7, 2022 at 2:15PM.
