Loraine Gomez, 60, of Farmington, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister, passed away on July 11, 2010. She was born May 5, 1950 in Blanco, New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Pablo Gomez; mother, Matilda Gomez; sisters, Cension Gomez, Yolanda Gomez, Virginia Valdez, Genevieve Jacquez, and brother, Pedro Gomez.
She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Gomez, Jr.; daughter Elizabeth (Sean) Kass, daughter, Lavette Gomez and daughter Victoria Gomez, and eight beautiful grandchildren.
Lorraine was the founder and proud owner of L&G Burritos. She started selling her burritos at a flea market in 1983. She was approached by a manager from a local 7-2-11 store who asked her to make some burritos for retail sales in the store. Coincidentally she passed on 7-2-11. The company then grew into a successfully family owned business that is loved by many customers all over the state.
Her children and grandchildren were her life. She enjoyed music, dancing, playing cards with her sisters and going next door (casino).
