PIGMAN- Louie Leon Pigman, 83, passed away December 30, 2010 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born March 31, 1927 in the Bowers Community near Wilburton, OK. Leon was the only child of Roy Lee and Rosa Norman Pigman. He is survived by his mother, Rosa Cathrin Pigman, 103, of Springer, NM; wife, Anita of Buckeye, AZ; children, Cleta Miller and husband Alton of Cimarron, NM, Donna Holst and husband Larry of Black Lake, NM, Dane Pigman and wife Shari of Vernon, FL; step-children, Mike Yocham and wife Kathy of Buckeye, AZ, Greg Yocham and wife Connie of Crestline, OH, Harvey Yocham and wife Camille, Tami Huff and husband Jerry, Tim Yocham and wife Rhonda, all of Buckeye, AZ; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; ten step great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father and his first wife, Polly. He served proudly in the US Navy during WWII. He had been a cowboy, a truck driver, operated heavy equipment and a rock crusher. In his late 70’s he mowed grass all summer with his fleet of lawn mowers. He moved his family from Oklahoma to Cimarron, NM in 1954 where he worked for many years on the McDaniel’s Ranch. In 1987 they moved to Arizona where his first wife died. In 1991 he met and married his second wife, Anita. They spent the last 19 years living in Oklahoma and Arizona. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 4, 2011, Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE and Meadowlark Lane, Rio Rancho, NM.
