Ulibarri, Louis A

Age 94, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Monday, January 29, 2018. He was born in Las Vegas, NM on March 11, 1923.

He proudly served in Army-Air Force as a Sergeant during WWII in the American Theater and Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Parish. He retired from Sandia Laboratories after 25 years.

Louis is survived by his loving wife, Rita, after 74 years of marriage; five children: Maxine Koester, Louis Ulibarri, Sandra Mills, Leigh Springer, and Steven Ulibarri; seven grandchildren: Melissa Foote (Michael), Michelle Adona (Mark), Matthew Koester (Terri), Christopher Springer (Stacia), Javan Ulibarri (Haley), Seth Ulibarri (Chenoah), and Kyle Ulibarri (Tonya); 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

A Rosary will be recited Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Heaven, 5311 Phoenix Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM.
