Louise Barlow

Funeral services for Louise Begay Barlow, 53, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 18, at Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup. The Rev. Allen Adler will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery. Barlow died Sept. 14, 2010, in Flagstaff. She was born Feb. 3, 1957, in Jones Ranch, into the Black Streak Forest People Clan for the One Who Walks Around People Clan. Barlow graduated from Wingate High School and Haskell Junior College. She worked for Southwest Wind Power in Flagstaff. Barlow always had a smile and good greetings for everyone she met and would go out of her way for her family. Survivors include her husband, Austin Barlow of Shonto; daughter, Norma Cruz of Seattle; mother, Mary Janes of Jones Ranch; brother, Raymond of Aztec; sisters, Mariane Nish of Jones Ranch, Laverne Harrison of Kirtland, Nancy Buelemyer of Trustin, Calif., RoseAnn Begay of Jones Ranch; two grandchildren.
