Lourdes "Lulu" Gianan

Lourdes “Lulu” Gianan, 79, passed away peacefully at her home on March 9, 2022.

Lulu is predeceased by her parents, six sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her brother, Alejandro Gianan Jr., and several nephews and nieces.

Lulu devoted her whole life to her family. She was very hardworking and generous to her family that she even left home in search for greener pastures. She worked as a teacher in the Philippines then in Taiwan for many years before she moved to the USA for good. She settled in Albuquerque, NM where she spent the last 18 years of her life. She was a dedicated member of St. Jude Thaddeus parish, volunteering many hours as a lector, teaching CCD classes, and was a member of the Catholic Daughters.

Lulu was a very good and faithful servant of God. She spent her life in prayer and following God. She will be dearly missed.

A rosary will be recited on Monday April 4, 2022 at 9:30am with a funeral mass to follow at 10:15am at Saint Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, NM. Lulu's inurnment will take place in the Philippines at a later date.
