Lovina Rae Douglas

Bloomfield Lovina Rae Douglas Lovina Rae Douglas, 96 of Bloomfield went home to be with her Heavenly Father on October 14, 2010. Lovina was born on May 1, 1914 in Plainview, TX. She was raised by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Jackson in Plainview. Lovina moved to Los Alamos, NM where she met & married Doug Douglas. While living in Los Alamos Lovina spent her time helping and sharing her life with the less fortunate. She spent countless hours at the County Barn where she helped to collect food and clothing to help the needy. In Los Alamos she was known as the Christmas Lady, she never knew a stranger. She was an active member of the Methodist Church of Los Alamos for many years. She was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 21 at 10:00 am at Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington. Interment will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
