Lucille D Baca (Vigil)

On June 18, 1950, she was given the gift of life, but on February 15, 2022, she had to give it back.  She was a very blessed woman thanks to The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She led a beautiful life and for that she is grateful.  She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque; NM having graduated in 1968 from West Mesa HS.  She was also a member of the SNMDMP #2 of Alameda.  Her professional life included working for the DOE and ultimately retired from Sandia National Labs. 

She was preceded in death by her loving parents Ruben & Rosie, her sisters Dedie and Viola (Harold) and her nephew Arthur Gurule.  She is survived by her awesome son Diego, her precious grandsons, Abryn & Gianni and her beautiful, amazing daughter-in-law Christine.  Her sister Yolanda (Albert), and brother Rudy (Loretta) and brother-in-law Gabe.

Her large family consisted of many, much loved nieces, and nephews (their significant others), cousins and Baca family members.  She loved everyone of them. 

She wanted to Thank all her friends who were always there for her.  Knowing and loving each one of you was the success story of her life. 

She will be singing and dancing up in heaven. She is at peace and happy to have been on God’s earth.  Please remember her with a song and a smile.  Beautiful days to all of you and May God Bless You all. 

Mass will be celebrated at Risen Savior Catholic Church at a date to be announced.
