Lucy G. Caudill

d. January 10, 2013

Caudill, Lucy G. Age 82, a life time resident of Albuquerque went home to be with the Lord on January 10, 2013. She was born in the home of her mother and Father (Josephita and Jose) in New Mexico on January 22, 1930. She lived all of her life here and has always called Albuquerque home. In her early years she was always know as a hard working girl on and around the family farm and property. She was essentially home, family, and self educated. She never had a driver's license drove a car! She later worked for a time as a waitress, where she met her first husband Faro Caudill (A Teamster). Who she married in 1955. After which she spent many years as a stay at home Mom to her three daughters Josie, Katherine and Liz. She was the definition of what a servant should be. A couple of years after the passing of Faro in 1976, she met Jose Seanz, and by all accounts they were husband and wife until his death in 2007. Everyone who knew her knows of this woman's big heart and generosity. She never had much but whatever she had she would freely give or share with any one in need. Lucy was known to countless folks as "Mom" and she called many that she knew Mijo (meaning my son) or Mija (meaning my daughter). She had an enduring love for so many and that love will live on forever and always in our hearts. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior with her granddaughter Tina, in 1999 and has had numerous conversations with many in the time since about the Lord Jesus. She is survived by daughters, Josie Jones and husband Rick, Katherine Caudill, Liz Peet and husband Carl; grandchildren, Ricky Jones, Alissa Jones, Therese Jones, Ryan Jones, Christina Nunez and husband Antonio; great-grandchildren, Yesenia and Malachi Nunez; and the only surviving sibling, Gavina. Lucy being the youngest girl of the group. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Mike, Joaquin (Shorty), Nacho, Leo, Orlando and Juan; sisters, Lena, Lisa. This is our greatest hope that we have that we will see her again in heaven and spend eternity with her and our Lord Jesus forever and ever, in a place where there will be no more crying, no more suffering, pain or sickness. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 19, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. at Calvary Chapel East, 12820 Indian School Rd. NE, Albuquerque. Reception will follow.
