Valdez y Martinez, Lucy R. Born on April 27, 1927 to Manuel and Ramoncita (Valdez) in Ensenada, NM. A resident of Cuba, NM, age 86, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Clovis O. Martinez. Lucy is survived by seven children, Gene Valdez, Dora Romero, Nora Rivera, Donna Martinez, Darlene Gurule, Clovis Martinez, Jr., Lucy A. Martinez; 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Lucy was a very loving mother who was always at her children's side when they needed her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 5:00-6:00p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services Carlisle Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. also at the Carlisle Chapel.
