Lucy M. Perea

PEREA- Lucy M. Perea, age 87, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2010. She is preeceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Mary Montoya; great grandchild, Dominic Griego; brother, Tomas Montoya. She is survived by her husband Demecio Perea; daughters, Dianne Orona and husband, Jacobo, and Peg Hennig; four grandchildren, Lisa Burris and husband, Urban, Norah Barela and husband, Adam, Jacob Orona and wife, Reina and Joshua Hennig; 11 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, August 23, 2010 at Daniels Family Funeral Services Palm Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, with a rosary immediately following. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona Ave. SE on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, with Father Tom Mayefske as celebrant, with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joshua Hennig, Jacob Orona, Adam Barela, Urban Burris, Clarence Montoya and David Montoya; Honorary Pallbearers will be Thomas Montoya, Sam Sanchez and Marvin Valverde.
