Lucy B. Roverse

Lucy Belinda Roverse (nee Sanchez) 
Age 54, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018. She was born in Del Rio, TX on February 20, 1964, to Mario and Anita Sanchez. Lucy graduated in 1982 from Eagle Pass High School in Eagle Pass, TX. Lucy then went to Texas A&M University in College Station, TX and graduated in 1986 with her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. On April 15, 1989 she married then First Lieutenant Mark Roverse, USAF, in San Antonio, TX.

Lucy is survived by her husband of 29 years, Lieutenant Colonel Mark Roverse, USAF retired of Albuquerque, NM; her daughters, Lauren Roverse and Melissa Roverse of Albuquerque, NM; parents, Mario and Anita Sanchez of Eagle Pass, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Sanjiv Suri of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by many Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins.

After graduating with her engineering degree she performed research for the United States Air Force. Later she raised her daughters, volunteered for school activities, and taught students at Eastern Hills Christian Academy. Lucy always enjoyed playing tennis and spending time at the beach. She will be sorely missed by many.

A private ceremony will be held for her interment at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX.
