Lyle Nathan Martinez

Lyle Nathan “Cheii” Martinez, age 34, passed away May 8, 2024, in San Diego, CA. He was born December 1, 1989, to his parents, Leland and Angelina Martinez in Chandler, AZ.

He is survived by his parents, Leland and Angelina of Los Lunas, NM; sister, Alicia of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, Blaine of Denver, CO; sister, Marissa of Los Lunas, NM; brother, Lorenzo of Fort Worth, TX; and niece, Arianna of Scottsdale, AZ.

Lyle graduated from Los Lunas High School in 2008. He attended the University of New Mexico, graduated May 2015 and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science.

His working experiences were as a Personal Trainer for 3 years, a Fitness Director for 4 years and a Corrective Exercise Trainer for 2 years.

His interests included: working out, watching sports and movies. He enjoyed helping others, doing manual labor, babysitting his niece, Arianna, and was the proud owner of  Native Hands San Diego in California.
