Lynette Wilcox, aged 80, devoted and deeply loved mother, passed away Saturday, 11 July 2026. Lyn spent her career in medical imaging, doing x-rays, MRIs and CT scans. She loved music and was devoted to her faith. Lyn first sang with the Peace Lutheran Choir in Arvada, Colorado, then joined the Houston Lutheran Chorale when she moved to Texas where she also sang in several church vocal and handbell choirs. When she moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, she joined the vocal choir and handbell choir of St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church. Lyn is survived by her daughters Ashleigh McLean and Christina Stark. She is also survived by her grandson, Christopher, her niece, Kimmi and great nieces Nina and Dominque. Also touching Lyn’s life were her husbands Ivan and Ken, her sisters-in-law Carol, Annita and Nancy. Lyn was proceeded in death by her parents, Lee and Willa Wilcox, her brother Lee Wilcox Jr, and her son Michael Lee. She was also proceeded in death by her beloved Yorkshire Terrier, Sandi. A memorial service will be held for Lyn online so that all family members might attend.
