Mandy C. Nichols

Mandy Cathareen Nichols, 93, passed away at her daughter’s home on December 18, 2020 leaving behind a legacy of love and friendships. She was born and educated in Council Bluffs, Iowa moving to Albuquerque in 1953.

Mandy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John M Nichols, her youngest son, Dennis Speer of Colorado, her parents, Stephan and Eva Sulentic, and three brothers, Emil, Joe, and Nick, all of Council Bluffs.

She is survived by her sister, Mary A Bankus of Modesto, California, her children Glenna Hickman, and her husband Jack of Albuquerque, Dena Zwingle, and her husband Chris of Burlingame, California, Jack Speer of Dallas, Texas, and her stepchildren Kay Griffin, and Kevin Nichols, and his wife Carole of Albuquerque. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, services will not be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sagebrush Community Church, 6440 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.
