Margaret Diegle

DIEGLE " Margaret Diegle, age 90, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, formerly of Marion, Ohio passed away on Friday August 27, 2010 at the Beehive assisted living facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on June 27, 1920 in Marion, the daughter of Ward and Eva Hufford. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Diegle, who died in 2005. A 1938 graduate of Harding High School, Marion, she had lived in Marion until 2003, when she and her husband George moved to Albuquerque due to failing health to be with their son Ron and daughter in law, Cheryl (Harper) Diegle. She was a lifelong member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Marion. She was valedictorian of her graduating class at Harding High and organized high school class reunions for many years. She worked at the Marion Credit Bureau for nearly 30 years before retiring in 1981. She enjoyed painting, dancing, writing poetry, and traveling in retirement with George. She is survived by son Ron, daughter in law Cheryl, grandson Chad Diegle, granddaughter Michelle Batte, and four great grandchildren. A sister, Donna Boyd, preceded her in death. The visitation and services will be held on Sunday August 29, 2010 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. Friends may call at the funeral home between 1:30- 2:00 pm. A service will be held at 2:00pm and reception from 2:45-4:00pm. Mr. Jude Fornier will officiate. Entombment will be at the Marion Cemetery.
