Margaret Jane Raish

Margaret Jane Raish (Holm) has gone home to our Lord. She was 91 years old, and died peacefully at home Tuesday, October 16, 2018. 

Born January 12, 1927 in Marquette, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Alice Holm.

She lived a happy life helping people stay connected. She was a telephone operator, and retired from Mountain Bell in 1985. After retirement she continued helping people. She was a member of the Pioneers and participated in the Hug-a-Bear Project. These bears were given to hospitals and emergency units in the Albuquerque area to comfort children from the trauma they were going through.

Margaret married the love of her life, Louis Edmond Raish, on May 1, 1947. They had five children. Margaret is the last of her brothers and sisters to leave us. She was proceeded by her daughter, Jane Raish. Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Louis; two sons, Steve and Gary Raish; two daughters, Cindy Langlois and Sue Sena; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. 

Visitation will take place Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with a Prayer Service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
                      
Entombment will take place following the Prayer Service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Margaret's honor to New Mexico Alzheimer's Association. 

Margaret will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
