Margarito is preceded in death b y his father Melecio Gonzales Sr. He is survived by his mother Isabel Maria Gonzales, sister Susan Gonzales, brother Melecio Gonzales Jr & wife Roberta, his three nephews Fidel Baca III; Victor Contreras, Melecio Gonzales III, his only niece Mya Gonzales and his great-nephew Easton Contrares.
