Margit Else Emma Good passed away peacefully after a long illness on June 17, 2026.

A 55-year resident of Santa Fe, Margit was born in Germany and moved to London in her late teens where she met her husband, television producer and painter Jack Good.

Artist, writer, free spirit and fearless traveler, Margit loved New Mexico, her family and her dogs. She was active in the ballooning community and belonged to the balloon chase crew “Femme Fatale”.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, and her daughter Daniella Hope.

She is survived by her son Dr. Alexander Good, her daughter Dr. Gabriella Good, and daughter Ms. Andrea Good. She leaves behind ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was much loved and will be greatly missed.
