Maria Clara Echavarria Barone

Maria Clara Echavarria Barone passed away on Friday December 3, 2021 at the age of 76.  She is survived by her daughter Gladis Alexandra Echavarria-Brown and her husband Scott Brown, daughter Adriana Patricia Echavarria, and son George Oscar Echavarria and his wife Cindy Echavarria.  Maria was an immigrant from Buenos Aires Argentina, and came to this country to pursue the American Dream in 1970.  She loved to sing, dance, cook, and make those around her feel welcomed.  She was a successful, strong, and loving woman.  She earned a master’s degree from George Mason University in Multi-Cultural Education; she achieved many of her dreams throughout her life, and most importantly was able to provide her children with an opportunity for a better life in this country.  She was abundantly loved by her daughters, son, and those who got to know her; she will be immensely missed.

A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday December 28, 2021 at Daniels Family Wyoming Chapel located at 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Chaplin Fabian Juarez will officiate.
