Marie T. Coyle

Mrs. Marie “Blue Love” T. Coyle died unexpectedly on April 7th, 2022, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 86 years old.

Marie is survived by her loving husband Thomas A. Coyle of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, son Thomas Coyle Jr. and daughter in law Ingrid Coyle of Tacoma, Washington, daughter Theresa McKinney of Rio Rancho, NM, son Christopher Coyle and daughter in law Carol Coyle of Santa Fe, NM. She was preceded in death by her mother Mildred Szombathy, father William Szombathy, brother William Szombathy Jr. and sister Elizabeth Wetmore. Marie is survived by her grandchildren Daniel, Denise, Miles, Melissa, Michael and Jason, and by great grandchild Savannah. Marie is also survived by her “Grand Dogs” Doc Holliday, Nova & Comet, and her “Grand Cat” Oscarina.

Marie was born on Friday, May 3rd, 1935, in New Haven, Connecticut, to Mildred (Freeman) and William Szombathy. Marie attended and graduated from Hamden High School in Hamden, Connecticut, in 1953. She was a secretary and bookkeeper for over 30 years. Special interests of Marie’s included sewing, traveling and camping. Marie was an active parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

A Rosary will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Parish Monday, April 25th, 2022, at 10:00AM. Mass will take place thereafter at 10:30AM. Burial will take place at Vista Verde Memorial Park on April 25th, 2022, at 12:00PM. A Private Family Reception will be held following Burial.
