Marie Flora Sanchez

SANCHEZ-Marie Flora, born April 14, 1919, in Socorro, NM to Juanita T. and Samuel Zimmerly, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2009. Flora was a life-long resident of New Mexico and member of the Catholic Church. She retired from Prudential Insurance after many years of faithful service. Flora is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Sanchez; her daughter Joan Fisher; her sisters: Isabel Donner, Reina Garcia, Pauline Thomaston; her brothers: Justin Zimmerly and Alex Zimmerly; in addition to a grandchild Paul Elias. Flora is survived by her daughter Lourdes Elias and husband John, her son Samuel Sanchez and wife Laura, son-in-law William Fisher, and grandchildren: Michael (Dee) Sanchez, Tammy (Mike) Godin, Deanna (Mike) Brunick, Angie (Matt) Gomez, Matt Sanchez, Jane (Scott) Switzer, Brian (Debbie) Fisher, Bruce (Becky) Fisher, Julie Fisher, Byron (Marissa) Fisher, Jae (Mary) Elias, Robby Elias, JoAnn Elias, 18 great-grandchildren, her sister Georgiana Baca, sister-in-laws Francis Zimmerly, Lupe Zimmerly, Pele (Ray) Romero, and Ernestina Sanchez.
