Marlene Pino

PINO - Marlene Pino, age 75, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010. She was born on May 3, 1934 and was life time resident of Bernalillo, NM, where she was a member of the Catholic Community. Marlene worked for the Bernalillo Public School System at Bernalillo High School Cafeteria for 35 years. She so much enjoyed family gatherings especially holidays and special occasions. Her relaxation time was playing her favorite slot machine at the casino. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rufina Zamora; and several aunts and uncles. Marlene is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Arsenio Pino; her wonderful children, Tony Pino and wife Patsy, Susie Vargas and husband Angel, Andy Pino and wife Polly, and Lisa White and husband Richard; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous cousins and friends. May our wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Rest in Peace, you will forever be in our hearts, with all our love, your family. A rosary will be recited Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be John Montoya, Phil Martinez, Gabriel Chavez, Larry Chavez, Forrest Beard and Steven Anaya.
