Marshall Tex"" Baxter

Marshall "Tex" Baxter April 14, 1928 - May 18, 2010 With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Marshall "Tex" Baxter, age 82. He was born April 14, 1928, in Grimes County, Texas. Tex lost his battle with Alzheimer's and dementia on Tuesday, May 18, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl D. Baxter and his mother, Evaline. Tex will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Milly and Louise; his brother, Kurtis; his daughters, Carol and Janet Wilson (Rick), his sons, Gene Baxter (Rosie) and David Baxter (Martha); along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He lived a great life, whether he was working in his hanger at Farmington Municipal Airport, playing with the band at The Office Bar, or even just going there to dance. He enjoyed his life.
