Mary Edwina Crawford

Mary Edwina Crawford, age 89, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020. She was born in Louisville, KY on April 21, 1931, to Edwin Crawford and Ethel Trosper. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Crawford; mother, Ethel Trosper; daughter, Lela Franks Tomlinson. 

Mary is survived by daughter, Vivian (Calvin) Wisemann of Albuquerque, NM; son, Adam (Sandy) Franks of Madres, OR; grandson, Aaron (Melissa) Wisemann; Jacob (Amanda) Franks; granddaughter, Carlee Wisemann; Celina (Daniel) Pozzi-Duran; Amanda (Rob) Carew; and her six beloved great-grandchildren. 

Mary (who preferred to be called Edwina) graduated from the University of Kentucky with her bachelor’s degree. Edwina moved to New Mexico in the late 1950's, and then settled in Corrales NM in 1968 where she lived in her dream home until she passed.  She very much enjoyed reading and volunteered in the Corrales Library for many years.  She also owned a health food store in the 1970's which she proudly named Eddie's Place.  Edwina was an excellent cook.  Additionally, she very much enjoyed just thinking about things, which she could do for hours. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
