Mary Ellen Fuller

On Saturday, March 16, after 93 years of being witty, caring, curious and kind, Mary Ellen Fuller departed for theundiscover'd country, from whose bourn no traveler returns. The world is a little darker without her in it. She is survived by her five children: Susan Carter (Les), Julie McCabe, Katie McCabe, Michael McCabe (Sheree) and Mary McCabe; and grandchildren Craig and Scott Carter, Sara Hawker, Colin Ennen and Brendan Burns; and four great grandchildren.

Mary Ellen was born in Glendale, CA, and grew up in El Paso, TX, As the wife of an Army officer, she traveled to Germany and Japan and throughout the United States. She was a teacher for the U.S. Peace Corps for two years in Lesotho, Africa. While she was humble about her talent as a painter, it was widely recognized by family and friends.
