LEON - Mary P. Leon, 75, passed away December 30, 2008. Mary was born June 1, 1933 in Long Beach, California. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Herman Leon; her daughter, Sara Moreno and husband, Armando; two grandchildren, Daniel Leon and wife, Yolanda, and Rosie Moreno, and one great-granddaughter, Kurina Valadez. Mary enjoyed making quilts that she gave as gifts to family and friends. She also had a "green thumb" when it came to gardening especially growing her own vegetables. Mary was a beautiful and caring person and she will be greatly missed by her loving family. Cremation has taken place.
