Age 81, Passed away  Sunday, January 30, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM.   Mary was one of three children; born  March 27, 1934 to the late Rogerio and Virginia Baca in Socorro, NM.  She was the beloved wife of Mike Martinez Sr. for 63 years.  Mary will be forever remembered by her brothers; Cirilio Baca (deceased),  Henry (Martha) Baca of Albuquerque, Mike Martinez Jr. (Deceased), Leo Martinez of Socorro, Chris (Melynda) Martinez of Deming,  and John (Sandra) Martinez of Albuquerque; her Daughters; Darlene (Jesus) Acosta, and  Susan (Billy) Martinez-Silva of Socorro; 18 Grandkids and 11 Great Grandkids, and several nieces and nephews.  Mom was a homemaker which for her was the ultimate career.  She placed her love for family above all else, caring for each of us.  She helped us understand that being a part of this family means you are a part of something very wonderful.  It means you will love and be loved. She was a true gift from god; our family will always honor her memory.  The Holy Rosary will be recited on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 10:00 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro with Mass of Resurrection to follow at 10:30 am.   Burial will take place at San Miguel Catholic Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers are her Grandsons; Josh Martinez, Patrick Manjarrez, Aaron McDaniel, Gabe Martinez, Vicente Soto, Eric Silva, and Dominic Silva.  A reception  at the Eagles will follow.
