Mary Ellen Panek of Ramah, NM passed away in Gallup, NM on April 15, 2010, she was 71. She was born on January 27, 1939 in Kansas to Joe and Emma Grass. She and Leonard were the owners and operators of the Stagecoach Café in Ramah for 20 years. She is survived by her daughters; Lisa Lewis of Ramah, NM., Kimberly Panek of Zuni, NM., Jolene Thrasher of Glenwood, NM, and Michelle Panek-Keno of Decatur, IL., Twelve grandchildren; Michael Panek of Farmington, NM., Kris Thrasher of Mesa, AZ., Jason Jones of Ramah, NM., Christina Neihardt of Leadville, CO., Ashlee Radtke of Lakeside, AZ., Derrick Neihardt of Ramah, NM., Alex Neihardt of Ramah, NM., Leonard Keno of Decatur, IL., Tony Rain Keno of Decatur, IL., Amethyst Eagle of Glenwood, NM., and Dillon Keno of Decatur, IL., Eight Great-Grandchildren. Two sisters; Joanne and Pauline. One Brother; Norman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Leonard Panek. Her Parents Joe Grass and Emma Simmons-Grass.
