Albrand, Melissa Jean Age 32, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011. She was born on March 30, 1979 in Salt Lake City, UT. Melissa enjoyed Special Olympics, movies, basketball (Utah Jazz), music, cross-stitching, her supportive family were her very best friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Benny Cantu, great-grandmother, Ladora Aiello. Melissa is survived by mother, Benette Cantu of Albuquerque, NM, birth mother, Donna Black, birth father, Don Albrand, grandfather, Jonny Albrand, brother, Jonathan Albrand, step-brother, Nathaniel Black, grandmother, Ruth Cantu, uncle, Donald Cantu, uncle and aunt, John and Carla Mangrum, uncle and aunt, Jerry and Thelma Ratz, aunt, Phyllis Cantu; cousins John, Andy, Ben, Joseph and Angel. Visitation will be November 3, 2011 at 2:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque.
