Melissa Kay (Cline) Ramirez

September 21, 1967 — August 28, 2024

In cherished remembrance, we gather to celebrate the life of Melissa Kay (Cline) Ramirez, a beloved wife, devoted mother, and esteemed friend who departed this world on August 28, 2024. Born on September 21, 1967, in the beautiful city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Melissa's journey through life was marked by a profound love for her family, an unshaken faith in the Lord, and a deep commitment to her community.

Melissa's educational pursuits were commendable. She completed her high school education at Grace Brethren Christian School, diligently fostering a passion for knowledge that led her to the Master's University where she expand her knowledge in Home Economics. Her thirst for education did not end there; she furthered her academic journey at Liberty University, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance.

During her professional tenure, Melissa dedicated nearly two years of service at Lode Star, where her commitment to excellence shone brightly, making an indelible mark on both her colleagues and the organization.

Beyond the realm of work and education, Melissa possessed a remarkable spirit filled with creativity and adventure. An ardent music lover, she composed and wrote music, her fingers dancing gracefully over piano keys, captivating all who were fortunate enough to hear her play. Her adventurous nature found expression in her love for the great outdoors; whether it was the thrill of scuba diving beneath the waves or the exhilaration of snow skiing, she embraced every opportunity to explore the beauty of the natural world. As a white-water raft guide, she shared her adventurous spirit, leading others through the exhilarating rush of the rapids.

Melissa’s faith and community involvement were central to her life. She was proud to be a member of Del Norte Baptist Church, where she lent her voice to the choir, uplifting others with her melodious singing and sharing her wisdom and attending a Sunday School where she most blossomed with her relationship with the Lord. Most of all, she treasured her relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ, and formed lasting bonds with His people, nurturing a community knit together through shared belief and support.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Ramirez, of Albuquerque, NM; her adoring children, Trevor and Twila Hardin, also of Albuquerque, NM; her cherished parents, Mike and Carol Cline, residing in Rio Rancho, NM; her brother, Michael (Christi) Cline of Mesa, AZ; and her sister, Michele Cline McGlasson of Westminster, CO. Melissa is further survived by her former husband, Terry Hardin who is the father of her children. Their lives are forever enriched by her love and teachings, and they carry her spirit with them in their hearts.

Melissa is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Roy and Joy Cline, John Howard, and Eva Rich, who welcomed her into eternal peace.

As we remember Melissa, let us carry forward her legacy of love, faith, and adventure. May her memory inspire us to embrace each day with passion and to hold our loved ones close, just as she did.

The family would like share, “Our hearts rejoice with thanksgiving, knowing our Melissa is safely home in the arms of her LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.
