Merle Curley

Curley died May 29, 2010, in Albuquerque. He was born March 23, 1977, in Gallup, into the Charcoal Streaked Division of the Red Running Into the Water People Clan for the Water’s Edge People Clan. Curley was a member of IBEW Local 611, Albuquerque. His hobbies included roping, reading, saddle making and leather work. He was a member of the #4 USTRC and was a 3A High School wrestler. He loved to cook and fish. Survivors include his son, Chance Lucas Curley; daughter, Murell Mandy Curley; parents, Arnold and Jeanette Curley of Greasewood Springs; brothers, Darron Curley of Glendale, Lavar Curley of Philadelphia, Pa., Dereck Curley of Greasewood, Shawn Curley of Greasewood Springs; sisters, Stacey Curley of Greasewood Springs, Hollie Curley of Greasewood Springs; grandfather, Earl Curley of Kinlichee. Curley was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Rose Tsosie, Dolly Curley. Pallbearers will be family members.
