Mia Kelsey

Kelsey, Maria (Mia) Age 87, a resident of Rio Rancho since 2006 and previously of Overgaard, AZ, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014. She was born in Guls, Germany on March 28, 1926, to Balthazar Sackenheim and Christina Beppel. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Kelsey. Maria is survived by her son, Robert L. Kelsey and wife Colleen, of Corrales, NM; grandchildren, Michelle VanWinkle and husband Cole, Amanda Kelsey, and Alexis Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Caden VanWinkle and Carter VanWinkle; sister's-in-law, Kathy McMarus, Charlene Marks; cousin, Christel Fester. Mia had a talent for making jewelry, taking if from design to casting. She also taught art classes at the community college. She enjoyed bowling, antiques, macram� and beading.
