Michael Edward Brown

Michael E. Brown, born on February 6, 1954, in Tucumcari, NM, passed away November 23, 2025, in Rio Rancho, NM. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Kathy Brown; his brother, Jerry Brown, and his wife, Shari; son, Richard Brown; daughter, Stephani Poelker; his sister, Linda Leonard; his sister, Candice Brown, and her husband, Bob Hurley, and son, Tucker Hurley. Michael has four loving stepchildren: Sean Gibson, Kevin Gibson, Katie Hartford, and Tammie Downey; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Brown; his mother, Helen Brown; and his son, David Brown. 

Michael was an Army vet, college graduate, and retired from Mechanical Representatives. Michael enjoyed being outdoors, golfing, and camping, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was always willing to help whenever and wherever he was needed. He was truly loved and will be deeply missed. 

A celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2026. Date to be determined.
