Michael Dennison

Dennison died April 24, 2010, in Churchrock. He was born June 29, 1984, in Gallup, into the Black Streak People Clan. Dennison attended Churchrock Elementary, JFK Middle School and Gallup High School. He was involved in yard and house maintenance. He liked to entertained his sons and nieces. Survivors include his sons, Michael Valdez Jr., Matthew Valdez, Anthony Valdez, all of Churchrock; parents, Lorene Yazzie of Churchrock, Pat L. Dennison of Tohatchi; brothers, Darrell Yazzie, Brian Sam, Kevin Sam, all of Churchrock, Jason Whitehorse of Kentucky; sister, Victoria Sam of Churchrock; grandmother, Margaret Yazzie of Churchrock. Dennison was preceded in death by George Yazzie. Pallbearers will be Kevin Sam, Emerson Yazzie, Brandon Yazzie, Brian Sam, Vernon Yazzie, Alex Haley.
