Michael Olen Donathan
Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the age of 62. He was born on August 3, 1949 to Frank and Sadie in Los Alamos, NM. Michael loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He spent his free time at the lake fishing. He was an established musician, being the lead singer in the Whiskey River Band for over 40 years. He is survived by his loving wife of five years, Gayle Donathan; mother, Sadie Donathan; daughters, Tania J. Donathan-Shetter and husband Bryan, Valerie Ann Donathan, Jennifer Tissue and husband Gary and Melodie Cessac and husband Kirk; sons, Mike Donathan and wife Jessica, Patrick Blankenship and wife Tracy and Benjamin Donathan; nine grandchildren, Preston, Nevaeh, Caiden, Mia, Keith, Lucas, Noah, Grant, Andrew, sisters, Barbara Williams and Joy Rasch; his 4 legged friend, Missy and numerous other family and friends. Michael will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Funeral Service will take place at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels, Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 2:00 pm.
