Michael John O'Bleness

Michael John O'Bleness, age 77, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  He was born January 6, 1946 to John S., O'Bleness and Viola Sommers.  He was employed as a plumber for Intel for 15 years.  Michael was an accomplished guitarist and carpenter for more than fifty years.  He was a member of the Catholic Church.  Michael enjoyed Nascar, Western Movies and was a Sparks enthusiast. He loved spending time with his family and his pet cats.

He is survived by granddaughters, Spring Zamora & family, Julia Silva & family and Mercy Herrera & Sabrina Herrera; 12+ grandchildren; 15+ great-grandchildren; 2+ great-great-grandchildren; and his beloved pet cat, Philex.

Grandpa is gone, but his impact is profound and everlasting.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services Sara Chapel 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM, 87124.
